I’ve been working with clients for over 10 years teaching movement proficiency to help increase performance, develop strength and mobility, and decrease chronic pain. My years of experience and continued education has allowed me to develop a keen eye for biomechanics and compensations. I use a science based approach to develop appropriate exercise programs to achieve a wide variety of goals.

I work with a vast clientele – general population to Olympians. I thoroughly enjoy teaching dedicated individuals efficient, effective, and balanced ways to move their bodies. In addition to working with clients out of Forward Motion, I am also the head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympian Swim Club.

Outside of training, I’m passionate about exploring nature – both locally and around the world. My dog Maverick and I are often on the search for a new quiet trail around the city or in the mountains. I also train dressage with my horse Laddy. In between these hobbies, I enjoy good coffee and delectable food with my husband Keal.

What Clients are saying...

Ryan Sheehan, Edmonton/Paris

"I have worked with Michelle for the past 5 years. Since then, Michelle has been one of the most integral parts of my team. What I enjoy most about working with Michelle is her excitement to further her knowledge and better herself - it’s contagious. Michelle is always willing to put clients first, above all, whether it’s bouncing ideas off of each other for better programming, adjusting to tough competition and travel schedules, or willing to bring in other experts to help with very specific needs, Michelle is absolutely the real deal. Beyond the gym, Michelle is an exceptional person. Michelle is easy to connect with, kind, fun, interesting and just a fantastic person to have in your life. You get just as much out of the fitness component as you do the human aspect with Michelle. You will not find someone more dedicated to their clients, their wellbeing (physical, mental and emotional) and improving all aspects of their lives. And did I mention, Maverick - the worlds cutest dog? That’s reason enough!"
