"Forward Motion exists to provide a well-rounded and educational fitness experience that can be applied throughout life to help clients feel and live their best."
- Michelle Atkins, Founder of Forward Motion S&C
Hi, I'm Michelle!

I’ve been working with clients for over 10 years teaching movement proficiency to help increase performance, develop strength and mobility, and decrease chronic pain. My years of experience and continued education has allowed me to develop a keen eye for biomechanics and compensations. I use a science based approach to develop appropriate exercise programs to achieve a wide variety of goals.
I work with a vast clientele – general population to Olympians. I thoroughly enjoy teaching dedicated individuals efficient, effective, and balanced ways to move their bodies.
Outside of training, I’m passionate about exploring nature – both locally and around the world. My dog Maverick and I are often on the search for a new quiet trail around the city or in the mountains. I also train dressage with my horse Laddy. In between these hobbies, I enjoy good coffee and delectable food with my husband Keal.
